Theater on Ice Production
The Theater On Ice (TOI) classes will train the skater(s) on a combination of Theater, Ensemble and Free Skating techniques. These classes will enable skaters of many different levels to skate in unison while enhancing each skater’s personal presentation level. This is a great opportunity for skaters of all ages and levels to come together and learn from each other!
- Forty-five minute class every Monday * from 6:15 until 7:00 PM
- Two major Productions during the 2007-2008 season
- Off-Ice acting, conditioning, music and dance classes
- Costumes for the shows
- Unlimited public skating sessions
- Eligibility to audition for a spot on the Americas Ice Garden TOI Competitive Team
- Three hour parking validation
- Each Skater must be skating at the Pre-Alpha Level or above
- Each Skater must attend classes and rehearsals **
- Each Skater must be a member of the U.S.F.S.A. through the Dallas Figure Skating Club
- Holiday Show “Christmas Eve On Ice” December 20th and 21st
- Summer Performance Camp “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2” June 19th and 20th
Requirements for Team Members:
Fees: • Fees for the forty-week season are $900 per skater.
A payment plan is also available and is broken down as follows:
1) Registration and first payment due October1st $300.00
2) Second payment due by November 1st $300.00
3) Third and final payment due by March 1st $300.00
4) Any sign-sign ups after January 1st, 2008 $450.00
Performance Dates:
* Classes will not be held the week of Thanksgiving or during the two weeks of Christmas break
** Rehearsals for the Christmas show will be on Sundays from 10:00 until 2:00 and Mondays after class beginning November 3rd.
